During our recent family trip to Villa Sonsierra, we discovered a gem nestled within a charming hilltop village, steeped in history. The hotel, housed in a beautifully restored building, provided a comfortable stay with modern amenities. Each morning, our family enjoyed a satisfactory breakfast that included made-to-order items, fresh orange juice, and espresso drinks-a delightful start to our day of exploring. The opportunity for kids to engage in local activities made it a family-friendly destination. Our young daughter particularly enjoyed running around the lovely gardens, allowing us as parents the chance to relax and sip our tea. Initially, we were assigned a room with windows facing a brick wall. We appreciated the staff's assistance in facilitating a room change the following morning, which offered us lovely views. The owners genuinely demonstrated hospitality, making us feel welcomed and supported during our stay. In summary, Villa Sonsierra is an excellent choice for families, combining an engaging environment with amicable service amidst the stunning backdrop of La Rioja.
